Eastern contemplative traditions universally believed that a loving heart was the fruit of all meditative practice. Over time, the cultivation of loving-kindness (metta meditation) became a highly sophisticated art in both the yoga and the Buddhist traditions.
Join acclaimed author and teacher Stephen Cope this October for a three-day program focused on the systematic cultivation of loving-kindness.
This on campus workshop will include:
- Loving-kindness practices, as well as other forms of meditation that support compassion and equanimity
- Dharma talks, group sharing, journaling, and chanting
- Daily mindful yoga practices
